Katie’s whole offering is a considered, personal, one-to-one experience — a template salon site doesn’t communicate that. The editorial design makes the brand feel as premium as the service, which matters when clients are choosing where to spend on extensions. Editorial, not another template salon site

Most salon websites lean on the same stock-photo template look. Signature Lengths needed to feel like the calm, considered, one-to-one experience Katie actually offers. We built a bespoke editorial design — a deep plum hero with the logo set as a watermark, generous off-white sections that breathe, pink as the interactive accent, and gold kept restrained for the logo and hairline details. It reads like a considered brand, not a booking-form-with-a-banner.

Built around the specialism: bonded keratin

Hair extensions are the heart of the business — and bonded keratin specifically is Katie’s specialism. Rather than burying that in a generic service list, we built a dedicated “Wigan’s home of bonded keratin extensions” content block. It does double duty: gives a curious visitor real depth on the consultation and fitting process, and gives Google a specific, lower-competition keyword target — bonded keratin Standish, hair extensions Wigan — rather than fighting over generic terms.

Online booking that fits the brand

We integrated Amelia for online appointments and styled it to match the plum-and-gold palette so the booking flow feels like part of the site, not a bolted-on plugin. HairSalon and LocalBusiness schema declare the Standish location and services so the salon is properly understood by Google for local search. The whole build is mobile-first — designed from the phone up and capped cleanly at 1400px — hand-coded with inline CSS on the templates, no page builder, no bloat.
