A complete WordPress rebuild for a Wigan compliance consultancy established since 2004 — 80+ bespoke PHP templates, six service clusters, 49 sub-service anchor pages, and a regional location SEO network covering the North West. Built to match a twenty-year reputation with a website that performs to match.
RADCaT Ltd is a family-run compliance consultancy based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, established in 2004. Over two decades they have built a strong reputation as a trusted compliance partner for businesses across the North West — covering health and safety, dangerous goods (ADR, IMDG, IATA), DSEAR, GDPR, HR and employment law, and accredited training courses.
Despite their depth of expertise and long-standing client relationships, their website wasn't telling that story. It was outdated, difficult to navigate, poorly structured, and completely invisible to local search. A business with two decades of experience and six specialist service areas had almost no organic search footprint to show for it.
The brief was straightforward: rebuild from the ground up, structure the services properly, and build the SEO architecture to put RADCaT in front of businesses across the North West who need compliance support.
The first job was making sense of the service offering. RADCaT operates across six distinct compliance disciplines — each with its own regulations, terminology, and target audience. We mapped these into six clearly defined service clusters, each with a pillar page and a full set of sub-service anchor pages (49 in total). The result is a site where any visitor — whether they're searching for a DSEAR assessment, an ADR consultant, or an HR policy review — can land on a page built specifically for them.
Every page on the RADCaT site is a self-contained PHP template with inline styling — no page builder, no Gutenberg, no bloat. This gives us complete control over layout, performance, and schema markup on a page-by-page basis. Service pages, location pages, legal pages, the e-learning section — all built to the same standard, all fast, all clean. Over 80 templates delivered across the project.
RADCaT's clients come from across the North West — not just Wigan. We built a location cluster network targeting the ten most commercially relevant towns and cities within their service area: Wigan, Bolton, St Helens, Warrington, Leigh and Atherton, Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Rochdale and Oldham, and Stockport. Each location page covers the full range of RADCaT's services for that area, structured to rank for location-specific compliance searches and feed traffic directly into the right service cluster.
We handled the full migration to Hostinger — A record configuration, nameserver validation, and Google Search Console domain verification via TXT record. Image assets are hosted on Hostinger's CDN with automatic URL updates on domain change. The site launched cleanly with GSC tracking in place from day one, so the SEO work is being measured from the moment it goes live.
Every service page and location page carries properly structured schema markup — LocalBusiness, Service, and BreadcrumbList where relevant. Meta titles and descriptions are written for search intent on every page, not templated. XML sitemaps submitted. Search Console verified. The site is built to be understood by Google from the first crawl, giving the cluster pages the best possible foundation to start ranking.
RADCaT had twenty years of credibility and expertise — the website just wasn't telling that story. We rebuilt it from scratch so that when a business in Wigan, Warrington, or Manchester searches for compliance support, RADCaT shows up looking exactly as professional as they are.
