Northwest Printer Solutions is a printer consumables supplier and managed print services provider based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. They supply toner cartridges, ink cartridges, printers, office supplies, and professional printing services to businesses across the North West.
The existing website was outdated and hosted on GoDaddy with static .html pages. It didn't reflect the range of products and services the business actually offers, had no SEO to speak of, and the contact form wasn't reliably delivering enquiries. The business was essentially invisible on Google.
They needed a modern, professional website that showcased their full product range, communicated their environmental credentials, generated enquiries through a working contact form, and was set up properly for Google from the start — all without disrupting the existing Microsoft 365 email that the business relies on daily.
We designed and built a fully custom WordPress theme with dedicated page templates for every section of the business. Product pages for toner cartridges, ink cartridges, printers, and office supplies — each with clear pricing structures, delivery information, and calls to action. Service pages for managed print and professional printing. An about page with a testimonial carousel featuring real customer reviews. And an environment page highlighting their eco print range and zero-waste recycling commitment.
Every page was built with comprehensive structured data markup. LocalBusiness schema with the company address, phone numbers, opening hours, and service areas. Product schema on product pages for Google rich results. FAQ schema on key pages for featured snippet potential. Breadcrumb schema for clean search appearance. Yoast SEO installed and configured, XML sitemaps generated, and Google Search Console verified with every page manually submitted for indexing.
The domain was registered at GoDaddy with the old site hosted there and Microsoft 365 email running through the same DNS. We added the domain to Hostinger, changed only the A records in GoDaddy to point to the new server, and left every email-related record (MX, CNAME, TXT, SRV) completely untouched. DNS propagated within minutes. The result was a clean cutover with zero email downtime. We also added .htaccess redirect rules to catch any old .html URLs and send them to the correct WordPress pages.
We built a custom contact form with file upload capability, enquiry type selection, and proper validation. The form uses WP SMTP configured through Hostinger's mail server to reliably deliver enquiry emails to the business owner's Microsoft 365 inbox. Every submission includes the customer's name, company, phone, email, enquiry type, and message — everything needed to respond quickly and professionally.
Once DNS was confirmed propagated, we verified the domain in Google Search Console using a TXT record in GoDaddy, submitted the XML sitemap, and manually requested indexing on every key page. Product snippet and merchant listing validation confirmed. LiteSpeed caching configured for performance. SSL certificate active. The site was fully live, indexed, and generating enquiries within hours of launch.
